Heattended Northern Arizona University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Microbiology. He later attended the University of Arizona for Medical School. Subsequently, Dr. Berardi performed a 5 year integrated residency program in General and Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Here, he received training in cosmetic surgery of the face and body, facial trauma surgery, burn reconstruction, cancer reconstruction (including breast), cleft lip and palate surgery, microsurgery, and hand surgery. Dr. Berardi's experience also included cancer reconstruction and microsurgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, and facial cosmetic surgery training in Miami, FL.
