Dr. Bahora then completed her OB/GYN residency at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey and obtained board certification while working at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She joined Downtown Women OB/GYN in May 2019 alongside her move to New York. When not at work, you can often find her running in Prospect Park, attending yoga, or cooking. Dr. Bahora enjoys all aspects of women’s healthcare, with special interests in adolescent medicine, contraception counseling, health disparities, and gynecologic surgery. Additionally, Dr. Bahora maintains a strong interest in international women’s health, having had the opportunity to serve in a medical capacity to communities in Haiti, Malawi, and Kenya. Her pathway Integrating her devotion to the underserved both at home and internationally has been incredibly fulfilling and she hopes to incorporate more of this work in the coming years.
