Sarah Holland, MD

Dr. Sarah Holland is a remarkable plastic surgeon who brings a contagious passion to her work. Her journey to becoming a board-certified plastic surgeon is a fascinating story that began at Colby College, where she excelled both on the field hockey and lacrosse teams while preparing for medical school at Cornell University. Her dedication to her craft is matched only by the unwavering support of her high school sweetheart, who is also an architect and designed her beautiful office in Falmouth, Maine.

Throughout her career, Dr. Holland has been inspired by mentors who encouraged her to follow her dreams in plastic surgery. Her journey took her to the University of Pittsburgh, where she spent 6 years in residency and fellowship, working with world-renowned plastic surgeons. She then became an Assistant Professor at Columbia University, where she had a thriving clinical practice and taught the next generation of plastic surgeons.

Dr. Holland has also traveled to Guatemala and the Dominican Republic on numerous surgical mission trips, bringing her skills and expertise to those in need. Since returning to Maine in 2006, Dr. Holland has established herself as a leader in the field of plastic surgery, with a patient-centered practice that prioritizes innovation, skill, and excellent outcomes.

She, her husband and three daughters enjoy skiing, sailing in Casco Bay, and relaxing at Panther Pond with their 2 dogs.
