Dr. David Stephens believes the most important step of successful plastic surgery is listening to the unique, aesthetic desires of the individual. Through this, he can review the options to correct the area of concern but also discuss other areas or structures that may contribute to this concern as well as the long term aesthetic goals of the individual.
Dr. Stephens feels that the best result should look like nothing has been done. Instead the person should look refreshed, healthier and younger. The results should be beautiful, in balance and consistent with the individual's sense of self and aesthetics. As a cosmetic plastic surgeon, he believes that he can best achieve these through a combination of artistry and skill but also use proven technology when it helps to improve on results and speed recovery.
Dr. Stephens is nationally known as one of the first plastic surgeons to develop minimally invasive, endoscopic assisted plastic surgery and routinely uses it in his practice. He is dedicated towards maximizing the results and minimizing recovery time through the use of improved techniques and through technology that is safe and provides a superior outcome. Never an early adopter of unproven technology, he has incorporated the newest state of the art LASER and video imaging in both skin treatment and body contouring procedures.
He has been voted as one of Seattle’s top plastic surgeons through several years of publications including Seattle Weekly, King 5, 425 Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan as well as national registries. After 5 years of academic practice, he maintains a private practice in the same Bellevue location since 1998.
