Raghuram G. Elluru, MD

Dr. Raghu Elluru is a board certified plastic surgeon in Michigan. Renowned among plastic surgeons, Dr. Elluru is excited to be able to provide state-of-the-art-care to his patients. He feels privileged to be part of such an excellent medical community and proud to use his extensive training to help patients enhance the way they look and feel about themselves.

Dr. Elluru understands that the decision to have cosmetic surgery is an important one and cannot be taken lightly and he views the doctor-patient relationship as a lifelong bond. He balances understanding, open, honest communication, and precise surgical techniques to offer individualized solutions tailored to each patients' needs. Furthermore, Dr. Elluru received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas before earning his medical doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He then completed a five-year General Surgery residency at Indiana University Medical Center. Afterwards, he pursued a two-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, also at the Indiana University Medical Center.

At I.U. he studied under nationally recognized surgeons to refine his skills in Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, Burn Surgery, and Cosmetic Surgery. Subsequently, Dr. Elluru completed a one-year fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Christine Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Kentucky, considered one of the best hand surgery training centers worldwide.

Dr. Elluru is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Michigan Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Kalamazoo Academy of Medicine, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the American Medical Society, as well as other medical societies.
